Open daily from 11:00 am to 15:00 am. We offer delicious hot or cold handmade soba noodles, as well as a variety of snacks and meals.<br />
Prices start from ￥650 for a serving of hot or cold soba noodles.<br />
We also serve drinks, including coffee, and there is no minimum charge.</p>
<p>We apologize for the fact that on certain days the restaurant may be closed for staff holidays.<br />

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have been conducting a firefly-viewing tour for this season.</p>
<p>If you are staying at a ryokan in Kurokawa Onsen between now and the end of July, you can join an evening firefly-viewing tour.</p>
<p>Just make a reservation before 4pm at the reception of the ryokan where  you are staying, as seats of tour bus are limited.</p>
<p>Meet at the Visitor Center at 7:50pm for an 8pm departure, the tour is free and lasts about an hour.</p>
<p>If  the weather is too wet or cold there may not be many fireflies, but you might have comfortable time.</p>
<p>The tour is cancelled in case of rain.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Setsubun is an early spring festival celebrated in Japan on February 3rd.</p>
<p>On that day we throw roasted soy beans out of the door or windows of the house, shouting &#8220;oniwasoto fukuwauchi&#8221;.</p>
<p>Oni means demons, so we want to chase away the evil demons and  bring good luck into our house.</p>
<p>You may even see some masked characters lurking out side on this day!</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t worry, just throw some roasted soy beans (mame) at them.</p>

you can see special displays of bamboo lanterns in and around Kurokawa.</p>
<p>These lanterns are hand carved in a variety of intricate designs by local people and create a gentle flickering light.</p>
<p>At weekends you can see a full display between 6pm and 9pm, but on weekdays there is a smaller display of lights.</p>
<p>Please view the video clip for a glimpse of these unique bamboo lanterns.</p>
